It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pamela Jane Austin of Graysville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 1, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Frederick and MaryJane Norris Frederick; her son David Shorter; and her sisters, Elizabeth and Diane.

She is survived by : her husband Jay Austin; her stepdaughters, Emma and Haley Austin; and her siblings, Nancy Merryman, Joseph Frederick, David Frederick and Tony Frederick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that a memorial contribution be made to ASPCA, Humane Society International, American Heart Association or World Wildlife Fund.
