He was predeceased by: his parent Charlie Laws; his siblings, Fostine Williams and Junior Reaves; his sister-in-law Roma Lee Reaves; his parents-in-law, Lamon Harrison and Ruth Harrison; and his sisters-in-law, Raven Hopson, Jay Collins, Roy Hopson, Jetta Hopson, Leon Harrison, Reiben Harrison, Ted Harrison, Denta Whitson, Everett Whitson and Wilma Harrison.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue "Dude" Laws; his daughter Kathy Lawing; his daughters-in-law, Benny Laws of Greeneville, Jeanne Laws of Greeneville, Kevin Laws of Greeneville and Lynette Laws of Greeneville; his grandsons, Brendon Lawing (Karen) of Greeneville and Josh Lawing of Greeneville; his great grandchildren, Jake Lawing of Jaci Lawing and Jesse Lawing of Jaci Lawing; his sisters, Retha Hopson and Alice Collins; his siblings-in-law, Wanda Jennings (Reed), Agnes Harrison and Joe Harrison; and his parent Pearl Laws. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
