He is survived by: his daughter Norma Hawkins; his son-in-law Mark Hawkins; his son Jerry Landers; his stepgranddaughter Skylar Johnson; his siblings, Darlene, William Gunter and Gary Cutshaw; and also Rhonda Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
