He was predeceased by : his wife Inez Lawing; his son Maurice Lawing; his grandson Marty Lawing; his parents, Harve Lawing and Hattie Lawing; and his siblings, Earl "Kyle" Lawing, John D. Lawing, Harold "Buddy" Lawing and Marie Harmon.
He is survived by : his daughters, Boston, Precious, Misty and Ardell; his son-in-law Doug Reynolds; his grandson Kevin Chapman; his great grandchildren, Kari Campbell of Johnson City and Garrett Campbell; his great great grandchild Brayden Campbell; and his close friends, Barbara Scarborough, John and Pattie Riblett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society.
