He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Mathes; his sons, John Parrish Mathes, Todd Andrew Mathes and Spencer Carey Mathes (Savannah); his grandchildren, Cory Ryan Mathes, Micah Kade Mathes and Dallas Ball; his brother Dennis Mathes; and his friend Goose. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
