He was predeceased by : his parents, Hulan Vanhoose and Jessie Jewel Vanhoose; his siblings, Clarence Lloyd and Joni Reese Booker; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne, Delona Parton, Bobby Parton, Patricia, Johnny Cantrell and Carolyn Parton Bradshaw.
He is survived by : his wife Louise Vanhoose; his daughters, Vanessa Grady (Keith), Valicia Vanhoose, Valerie Hodge (Johnny) and Velvet Vanhoose; his stepchildren, Terry Jones (Judy), Russell Jones and Debra L. Jones; his brother Hugh Dean Vanhoose (Becky); and his sister-in-law Marilyn Johnson (Alan). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
