He was predeceased by: his daughter Melinda Ruth Greene; his parents, Georgia Kate Rader and Glen C. Cansler; his siblings, JoAnn Attanasio, Grace Willis, Fred Cansler and Leroy Cansler; and his close friend Bob Ramsey.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Bird Cansler; his children, Michael Allen Cansler (Mike), Jim Foster (Debbie) and Robert Foster; his grandchildren, Eleanor Anne-Marie Foster, Calvin Jack Foster, Jordan Banner, Monica Paige Greene and Brittany Danielle Greene; his son-in-law Rick Greene; his brothers, Robert (Evelyn), Steve, John (Joyce), Ralph (Billie) and Ronnie (Belinda); and his sisters-in-law, Lucille Cansler, Linda Laughter and Catherine Bird. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
