With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sammy Joe Gregg (Greeneville, Tennessee), who passed away on August 28, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Gregg and Tulin Holt Gregg; his siblings, William "Bill" Gregg, Fred Alan Gregg, Betty Valentine, Shirley Carter and Linda Gregg; his siblings' children, Brenda Gosnell, Carolyn Wilburn, Andy Carter and James Andrew "Biggen" Turner; and also Sheyenne Lashae Johnston.

He is survived by: his son Shawn Gregg; his significant other Vickie Kirk Gregg; and his siblings, George L. Gregg (Brenda), David Gregg, Rankin Gregg (Barbara), Mike Gregg (Lorrain), John Gregg (Diane), Nancy Goodstein and Patricia Valentine (Bill). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and many special friends.
