Violet I. Bailey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet I. Bailey (Greeneville, Tennessee), who passed away on November 21, 2018 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Shipley and Lura Shipley; her brother Charles Shipley; and her great grandchild Caylen Ruth Bailey. She is survived by: her children, Stan (Jeannie Bailey), David (Sheila Bailey), Pamela (Kenneth Thacker), Elisa (James Tomlinson) and Maria (Richard Swecker); her grandchildren, Nick Bailey, Erica Buchanan, Holly McCoy, Tyler Bailey, Dustin Bailey, Valerie Swecker and Victoria Hensley; her siblings, Joan Schroer, Brenda Reed and Tommy Shipley; and her sister-in-law Winifred Shipley. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of Violet Bailey be made to: Gateway Christian School 1 Gateway Dr. Middlesboro, KY 40965 Proverbs 31:28 - "Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.".
