She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence "Pete" Bettis and Daisy Bettis; her daughter Belinda Mitchell; and her siblings, Patsy Bettis, Peggy Bettis, Martha Franklin, Shirley Seaton, Barbara Livesay, Johnny Bettis and Billy Colyer.

She is survived by : her son Danny; her daughter-in-law Melissa Fillers; her granddaughter Susan Barnes; her great grandchild Hayelee Barnes; her son-in-law Tim Mitchell; her sister Nancy; her brother-in-law Ken Connor; and her brothers, Ted Bettis, Clarence "Jack" (Jeanie Bettis) and Wayne (Judy Bettis). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
