He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde Wayne and Sara Ruth Burgess (Russell); his wife Mary Burgess (Storey); and his siblings, Inita Pickett, Clara Volner, Wayne Burgess and Jerry Mack Burgess.
He is survived by : his daughter Angelia; his son-in-law Rodney Howard of Greenfield; his son Danny; and his daughter-in-law Rhonda Burgess of Jackson. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
