She was predeceased by: her mother Dola Clarene Tate Scissom. She is survived by: her father Roy Dale Scissom; her former husband Donald Duane Haddock; her significant other Kelly "Bugs" Layne; her brother Charles L. "Skipper" Sweeton; her children, April, Wendy, Cody Haddock (Brandy) and Tashina Haddock (Samuel Leon Parsons); her siblings, Ronnie Scissom (Teresa), Ricky Scissom (Connie), Alec "Nicky" Scissom (late Kathy) and Sandra Scissom Rankin; and her grandchildren, Jase Sterling Haddock and Cason Duane Haddock. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home, Inc. (32871 TN-108, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37365). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
