She was predeceased by : her parents, James William Finks and Willie Mae Edwards Finks; her former life partner H. L. Morgan; her husband William "Bill" Anderson; and her brothers, Albert Finks Jr. and David Trammel.

She is survived by : her siblings, Betty Jo Crowe and James William Finks (Ann); and her niece Sherry Johnson (Chris). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
