She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Ross and Willie Mae Anderson Poteete; her husband Tommy Ray Morris; her son Thomas Richard Morris; and her siblings, Ross Poteete Jr., Betty Jones, Ethel Johnson, Lynia Davis, Margaret Poteete and Elizabeth Poteete.

She is survived by : her children, Sharon Richardson (Roy) and Don Morris (Deb Davis); her granddaughter Amanda Stubblefield (Dan); her stepgranddaughter Rhonda Cooper (Steve); her great grandchildren, James, Grace and Emily Stubblefield; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan (Caroline), Joseph Cooper, Nathan Richardson (Anna Jane) and Alaina Blackburn (Trentt); her step great great grandchildrens, Casen, Lakelyn Blackburn, Millie Jane and Kallen Richardson; and her siblings, German Poteete, Mary Ruth Toungette-Franklin (Allen) and Virginia Jones-Calahan. She is also survived by Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
