She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Phillips and Etta "Rose" Perkins; her husband Fred Ward Jr.; her son Jeffrey Mitchell Griffith; her granddaughters, Leslie Crystal Lynn Griffith and Alicia Ann Marie Griffith; and her son-in-law Bob Newport.

She is survived by : her children, Bobbi DeBord (Dick), Cheryl Humpreys (Rick), Sandy Newport, Decie Buttram (Mike), Nikki Sexton (Mike) and Donnie Griffith (Lisa); her daughter-in-law Crystalle Griffith; her stepchildren, Johnny Ward (Jeanene), Nora Hawkins and Rose Rowe; her grandchildren, Anthony, Deana, Kristi, Amy, Billy Joe, Misty, Brogan, Brad, Michael, Mitch, Wade, Jennifer, Marie, Tyrell, Hannah, Whitney, Joshua, Jordan, Bethany, Randall, Eric B., Eric S., Stephanie, Vania, Ashley, Brandon, Terry, Jesse, Crystal, Tabitha, Ember, River, Mitchell, Niki, Shanna and Coy; and her close friends, Linda Phillips and Jane King. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; one great, great-grand daughter and many other family and friends.
