He was predeceased by : his parents, James Yancey and Nella Pha Yancey; his sister Sherry Yancey; his grandparents, Rosa Lee, Rosier Cross, Luther and Flora Yancey; his uncles, Darryl Cross and Maynard Cross; his parents-in-law, Palm T and Carol Phillips; and his friend Mike Cross.
He is survived by : his wife Cynthia Yancey; his brother Gary Yancey (Holly); his uncle Zolla Cross (Helen); his aunts, Ugunda West, Nella Faye Cross and Melba Cross; his nieces, Jordan, Erin, Megan Yancey, Kaysha Golden (Ryan), Daysha Jeffers (Taylor Washam) and Abbie Jeffers; his nephew Caden Jeffers; his sisters-in-law, Reda Phillips, Trina Terry (Rick) and Misty Jeffers (Pete); and his great-nephews, Adler and Caleb Golden.
