She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin Brookshire and Edith Howell Brookshire; her husbands, Jimmy Joe Pennington and Willard Brackett; and her siblings, Ray Brookshire, Buel Brookshire and Jane Harris.

She is survived by : her siblings, Joyce Gorley, William Brookshire (Emily) and Michael Brookshire (Daisy); her children, Carol Brackett (Charles), Karen Roberson, Willette Brackett, Trish Neal (Matt), Jeanie Pennington, Ruth Ridner, Wendell Brackett (Phyllis), Doug Brackett, Reuben Stanley, Jackie Pennington, Jerry Pennington (Libby) and Joseph Pennington (Sybil); her grandchildren, Austin, Kolton, Amber, Alex, Kyler (Emily), Adam (Ashley), Cynthia, Marsha, Michael, Shane, Wendy, Arthur, April, Jacob, Lauren, Linsey, Amanda and Eddie; her great grandchildren, Emma, Bentley, Abrianna, Ana Stacia, Anne Lee, Macy, Dustin, Tyler, Zane, Dawson, Anthony and Braxten; her close friends, Tracy Ellis, Edna Horne, Dean, Mable Stephens and Faye Sheppard; and her siblings-in-law, Tony and Wanda Ashcraft. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
