It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jan Melton of Henderson, Tennessee, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Harrold F. Sand and JoEva Burton Sand; and her parents-in-law, Mel Melton, Ginney Trice Melton and Francis Lile Melton.

She is survived by : her husband Phil Melton of Henderson; her children, Jeff Briscoe (Kimberly) of Jackson and Malinda Truog (Ross) of Springfield, FL; her grandchildren, Nathan Briscoe, Maia Truog and Madi Truog; her grandparent Harley Johnson; and her siblings, Harold Sand (Sharron) of Wagoner, OK, Sharon Stone (Cecil) of Nashville, TN and Gwen Wharton (Bart) of Norman, OK. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church in Henderson.
