We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2025, at the age of 88, Billie J. O'Brien (Hendersonville, Tennessee), born in Jackson, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bain Hawkins and Mary Hawkins; her husband Collins Bruce O'Brien; and her sister Robbie Hawkins Odom. She is survived by: her sons, David O'Brien (Shelly), Gary O'Brien (Melissa) and Mark O'Brien (Heather); her grandchildren, Alex O'Brien (Sarah), Meredith Bernui (Michael), Alexis O'Brien and Zack O'Brien; and her great grandchildren, Blakely Collins Bernui and William James O'Brien.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center (353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, Inc.
