He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Everett Walker and Annie Mae Walker. He is survived by: his brothers, Conrad, Everett and Carmen; his wife Janet; his children, Michael (Rebecca), Michele and Jeff (Jessamine); his grandchildren, Brenna, Clay, Elise, Carmen and Jack; and his brother Gary (Estalita). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
