He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Allen Vinson (Tosh); his children, Robbie Jean Vinson, Rhonda Faye Rager (Gary), Kassie Renee Winnett and Sam Crosby Vinson, Jr. (Kathy); his grandchildren, Christopher Shane Vinson (Leila), Kassie Alyssa Baker (Joshua), William Levi Garrett, Sam Crosby Vinson III and Kaylin Elizabeth Vinson; his great grandchildren, Lily Mae Vinson and Fiona Renee Baker; and his sister Beth Stillwell (David). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
