With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgie Juanita Carmack of Henning, Tennessee, who passed away on May 24, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Luther Shands and Clara Shands (Ayers); her husband James Vinson Carmack; her son James Harold Kasinger; and her close friend Mike Hughes.

She is survived by : her children, Connie Wilson (Barry) of Henning, TN, Deborah King (late Tuffy) of Gadsden, TN, Robert Newton (Becki) of Poplar Bluff, MO and Ira Newton of Somerville, TN; and her siblings, Linda Scott of Alamo, TN, Darlene Schroeder of Wayne, IL, Pam Brown of Garden City, MO and Randal Shands of Halls, TN.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
