She was predeceased by : her father Walter Ray; her husband Charles Bowers; her son Johnny Bowers; and her siblings, Lola Alice Bailey, Charles Veltman Ray and Franklin Dale Ray.
She is survived by : her daughter Lisa Kay Roberts; and her brother Roy Lee Ray of Henry. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
