He was predeceased by : his parents, Merle C. "Buddy" and Rosa Mearida (Lowery); and his brother Billy. He is survived by : his wife Sharon Mearida of Henry, TN; his children, Janet Wick (Rob) of Bloomington, IL, Susan Freed (Mike) of Roberts, IL, Beth Mennenga (Bradlie) of Irving, TX and Kenneth Mearida (Kylene) of DeWitt, IL; and his siblings, Ronald Mearida (Vicki) of Wapella, IL, Nancy Scott of Bloomington, IL and Barbara Pence (Allen) of Wapella, IL.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great grandchild.
