He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Blackwell; and his brother Michael Patrick Blackwell. He is survived by: his father James E. Blackwell; and his siblings, Kevin Blackwell, Chris Blackwell (Amy), Dennis Blackwell (Elaine) and Emily Motsay (Mike). He is also survived by 10 nieces & nephews.
