It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andy Petty (Carthage, Tennessee), who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandparents, Carl and Inez Burton; his parents, Jack Petty and June Burton Hulings of Highland, Michigan.; his sons, Chris Petty of Nashville and U. S. Marines; his sister Jackie Suddeth (Larry) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; his mother-in-law Betty Woodard Watson; his stepsisters, Tena Robey (Louie) of Nashville and Vona Coble; and his stepsons, Scotty Claridy of Hartsville and Keith Claridy. He was also cherished by four step-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Sanderson Funeral Homes, Inc. (901 Main St N, Carthage, TN 37030-1002). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
