He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Norris Meadows and Lettie Gertrude Shofner; his wife Jean Story Meadows; his siblings, Glyndon Aaron, Muriel Phillips, Nancy Willis, Cassie Morrow, Shofner Meadows and Jackie Meadows; and his daughters, Trina Wooden and Susan Sweeton.

He is survived by : his children, Ronald D. Meadows (Vanessa) and Gina Moore; his grandchildren, Danielle Medley (Wayne), Ashley Meadows and Seth Moore; and his great grandchildren, Cyrus Medley, Trey Medley, John Medley and Wayne Allen Medley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
