It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Desandy of Hixson, Tennessee, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 14, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rev. Fred Don and Georgia Etta Reed; her husband Robert Joseph DeSandy; and her siblings, Samuel, Paul, Charles, Fred, Raymond, Wilbur Reed, Lillian Brown, Mary Farris-Kribs, Blanche Woody and Rebekah Ruth Wilson.
She is survived by : her sister Phyllis Pedde of Michigan; her daughter Nancy; her son-in-law David Larson of Signal Mountain, TN.; her granddaughters, Sara Buscaglia (Tommy), Brooke Larson (Shaun) and Carin Corey (Clark); and her great grandchildren, Isaac, Asher, Yuri, Ila, Buscaglia, Arlo, Hawk, Stoney Larson and Twins Emerson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Village Chapel of Pinehurst, NC, Kindred Hospice of Chattanooga or Samaritans Purse.
