She was predeceased by : her parents, Phillip Hays and Kitty Hays; and her siblings, Sarah Headen (Bill), Phillip Hays, Jr. (Olga), William Allen Hays (Peg) and Dan Hays (Ruthie).

She is survived by : her husband John E. Catlett, Jr.; her children, Ann Anderson and Steve Catlett (Karen); and her grandchildren, Rebecca Porter, John Anderson, Natalie Catlett, Alex Catlett, Lauren Ladd and Taylor Dobbs. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews.
