He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Roy "Buzz" and Dortha Speed (Gray); and his brother Tony Speed. He is survived by: his son Nathan Speed (Bridget); his grandchildren, Addi Speed, Marli Speed, Ryker Speed of Proctorville, OH and Briggs Speed of Proctorville, OH; and his sibling's children, Mandy Speed, Thomas and Justin Speed.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East View Cemetery (1516 E Mathews St, Union City, TN 38261).
