He was predeceased by: his father James Elmo Hardy (Mary Katherine Carol Hardy); and his brother Joe Hardy. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Phillips Hardy of Humbolt, TN; his daughter Amanda Love (Jeff) of Humbolt, TN.; and his brother Wayne "Pete" Hardy of Birmingham, AL..
