He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Odell Baker and Blondell Sanders Baker; his wife Elizabeth "Beth" Abel Baker; his son John Michael Baker; and his siblings, Clyde Baker, David Baker and Stell Emison.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Reid (Scott) and Linda Bland (Mark); his siblings, Tony Baker (Kay), Jean Bledsoe, Nell Jobe and Mary Blackwell (Mark); and his grandchildren, John, Elisabeth, Emilie Reid, Brittany, Mark Hunter Bland (Shelby) and Hunter Hays.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Antioch Cemetery.
