He is survived by: his wife Robin Elam; his sisters, Shelia and Jennifer McKinley of Humboldt, TN; his aunt Ora Lee Croom of Humboldt, TN; his daughters, Mary Katherine Elam Pankey of Humboldt, TN and Francine Elam Ferguson of Champaign, IL; his stepsons, Garrett Z. Oden, Daris Oden and Simeon L. Barnes; his grandchildren, Nicolette Elam of Champaign, IL, Joe Pankey (Aviance) of El Puerto, Spain and Justin Pankey (Katrina Smith) of Jackson, TN; and his great grandchildren, Jazmin, Jada, Jeniya, Jeremiah of Jackson, TN, Ayanna, Ava of El Puerto, Spain and Donald of Champaign, IL.
