He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Howard O'Bryan and Daisy Catherine O'Bryan (Talley); his wife Janet O'Bryan; and his siblings, Ruby Stancil, Lottie Herron, Frances Altman, Helen Viola Verrera, Elise O'Bryan, Ray O'Bryan, Hugh "Sam" O'Bryan and Billy Wayne O'Bryan.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Thurman (John) of Springhill and Aaron O'Bryan, III of Huntingdon; his sisters, Rachel Ralph (Louis) of Jackson, Kathryn "Kathy" Hammond (Albert) of Jackson and Joyce Price of New Johnsonville; and his grandchildren, Savannah Thurman, Ian Thurman and Caroline Thurman.
