We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2020, at the age of 100, Alice Williams (Huntingdon, Tennessee), born in Yuma, Tennessee passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alice Williams to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Clayton and Opal Blount Birdwell; her husbands, Harold Gooch of Yuma and Dallas Williams of Huntingdon; her grandson Henry Newton; her brother Lloyd Wayne "Bill" Birdwell; and her sister-in-law Addie Pearl Birdwell.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Carolyn Newton of Memphis and Billy Williams of Huntingdon; her granddaughter Kate Stables of Cornelius, NC; her great grandchildren, Elliott Stables, Frances Stables and Jack Newton; and her sibling's children, Sandra Birdwell Bonds of Nashville, Bob and Judge John Everett Williams of Huntingdon.
In light of the COVID-19 virus and oppressive heat, the family has requested only private services be conducted by Dilday-Carter Funeral Home.
