He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Avery; his children, Lisa Scott of Huntingdon, Renae Avery of Henderson and Mike Avery (Christie) of Huntingdon; his siblings, Vicki Avery of Jasper and James Avery (Faye) of Jasper; and his grandchildren, Kristy Lindsey (Josh), Michael Cody Avery (Brittany M. Ward), Destiny Williams, Austin Avery, Christopher Avery and Hunter Hindman. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
