She was predeceased by: her siblings, Curtis Ashby, Wayne Ashby, Milburn Ashby, J. D. Ashby, Alta Morgan and Lois Wisdom; her parents, Nogie Ashby and Vonnie Jarrett; and her husband Elbert "Snip" Oatsvall.

She is survived by: her children, Troy Oatsvall and Patsy Gooch; and her grandchildren, Kathy Jones, Jennifer Harper, Rhonda Elford, Tony Gooch, Dayna Smith and Steve Oatsvall. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
