He was predeceased by: his parents, George Everett Eskew and Florance Wiles; his son Michael Eskew; his grandson Randall Eskew; and his siblings, George Eskew, Darrell Eskew, Wayne Eskew, Justin Eskew, Virgie McMinn, Jane Callison and Joyce Crider.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Eleanor Eskew; his children, Barbara Weinmann of Trezevant, Martin Van Eskew of Humboldt and Quent Eskew (Vickie) of Huntingdon; his stepsons, Terry Davis (Carrie) of Huntingdon and Gary Davis (Helen) of Huntingdon; and his sisters, Mildred Walls of Knoxville and Jewell Simpson of Huntingdon. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
