He was predeceased by: his parents, John Furr and Opal Allen Furr. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Furr; his children, Terry Furr (Cami) and Cindy McMinn (Tim); and his grandchildren, Josh Furr (Jordan), Luke Furr (Angel), Jessica Grushon (Wes), Rachel Nolen (Jimmy) and Matthew McMinn (Calyn). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Huntingdon First Baptist Church (108 Church St B, Huntingdon, TN 38344).
