It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jo Melton Abbott of Huntingdon, Tennessee, born in Troy, Tennessee, who passed away on September 12, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Mitchell Smith and Nannie Estelle Smith (Springer); her former husband Oscar Melton; her husband Ondell Abbott; and her daughter Patricia Jane Melton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Fredia Harris (Frankie) of Huntingdon, Cathy Garner of Huntingdon and LeAnn George (Bud) of Murfreesboro. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
