She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Robert L. Cole; her parents, Robert Eldon and Pauline Pinson Espey; and her siblings, Jean Espey Fields and Ron Espey.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Anne Cole of Memphis, TN, Cynthia Cole Pickering (Tim) of Bartlett, TN and Robert L. Cole II of Lakeland, TN; her grandchildren, Jackson Hunter Sharp of Lakeland, TN and Anna Catherine Sharp of Tacoma, WA; her great grandchild Jackson James Sharp of Memphis, TN; and her siblings, Jane Espey Overbey of Newbern, TN and Bob Espey (Judy) of Atwood, TN.. She is also survived by mother and "Mama Joyce" to her beloved grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, 1207 Peabody Ave, Memphis, TN 38104.
