He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ray Brooks and Ethel Yancy Brooks; and his siblings, Talmadge Ray Brooks and Mary Ashley. He is survived by: his wife Betty Brooks of Huntingdon, TN; and his sisters, Marie Tice of Post Falls and Linda Scott of Summerville, Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
