She was predeceased by: her husband Walter F. Smothers, Sr.; and her siblings, Maurice Everett and Kathy Barker. She is survived by: her brother Scott Carter; her children, Pat Sichta (Chuck) of Lady Lake, Sandra Pytlik of Ciscero, Joyce Carter of Huntingdon, Ramona Nelson (Gary) of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Walter Smothers, Jr. (Tresa) of Huntingdon, Tennessee; and her brother Bobby Everett (Barbara) of Lansing, Michigan. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
