She was predeceased by: her parent Virginia Rouse Cupples; and her son Joe Douglas Smith. She is survived by: her husband James Jr. of Jackson; her daughters, Nancy Darlene Murray (Ed) of Las Vegas, NV, Julie Harrison (Lance) of Humboldt and Holly Oakley (John) of Humboldt; her brothers, Clifford Rouse of Jackson, Anthony and Tony; Buck Jr. of Jackson and Arnold Shumate, Jr. of Jackson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
