It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruel David Gibson of Huntingdon, Tennessee, born in McKenzie, Tennessee, who passed away on October 13, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilford Gibson of Washington and Blanche Mae Gibson (Reynolds); and his siblings, James Gibson, Harold "Hoot" Gibson and Dorothy Irby.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Jane Gibson; his daughters, Angie Turner (David) of Huntingdon and Barbara Wallace (Randall) of Lexington; his brother Gilford Junior Gibson (Cathy) of McKenzie; and his grandchildren, Dustin Wallace (Jennifer), Ryan Wallace (Katie), Logan Wallace, Brett Gibson, Lindsay Townes (Desmond), Lincoln Webb (Chris) and Alex Walters. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
Due to part of the family coming in contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID, they are requiring everyone to please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
