She was predeceased by: her parents, Richardson Frank Cary and Beulah Mary Hollowell Cary; her husband Joe David Gaskins; her brothers, Lindo Cary and Gladous Cary; and her sister-in-law Atafair Cary.
She is survived by: her sons, David Gaskins (Justine) of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Donnie Gaskins (Dana) of Huntingdon, Tennessee; her siblings, Mable Newbill (Giles) of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Vel Gene Cary (Sue) of Yuma, Tennessee; her sister-in-law Marie Barker of Huntingdon, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Stacey Williams (Casey), Steven Ray Gaskins (Jennifer) and Michael Ray Gaskins. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
