He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaxton Sullivan, Sr. and Charlotte Elizabeth Armistead Sullivan; and his siblings, Barbara Denley and Bryan Sullivan. He is survived by: his wife Janice Sullivan of Huntingdon, TN; his children, Jade Sullivan of Hollow Rock, TN, Heather Tanner (Aaron) of Kingston Springs, TN and Charles Sullivan (Melissa) of Jamestown, ND; his brother Dorris Sullivan of Nashville, TN; and his granddaughters, Harley Tanner, Ashland Allen (CJ), Bailey Tanner, Brielle Sullivan and Ava McCaig. He is also survived by 4 great-granddaughters.
