It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verdell Allen (Huntingdon, Tennessee), born in Benton, Tennessee, who passed away on January 29, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Dell Abbott; his children, Barbara Chandler and Steve Allen; his granddaughter Paula Renee Chandler; and his siblings, Wayne Allen of Lonnie Allen, Avery Littleton, Reba Stokes, Ruby Galbreath and Peggy Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy McCaslin (Keith) of Huntingdon, TN and Larry Allen (Pattie) of Bruceton, TN; his daughter-in-law Mara Allen of Bruceton, TN; his grandchildren, Terry, Stephanie, Merideth, Adam, Amy-Jill, Mark, Jonathan, Bethany, Brian and Bridget Thirty; and his sisters, Mavis Howe of Camden and Clarice Wheatley of Camden, TN.. He is also survived by Thirty two Great Grandchildren Three Great Great Grandchildren.
