He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Watson and Annie Watson (Stovall); his son Dwight Watson; and his siblings, Mildred Fanning, Bill Watson, Blanch Steakley, Dorothy Douglas, Arline Dotson, Nelle Turnes, Ralph Watson, Buford Watson and Dewey Watson.

He is survived by : his wife Clara Watson; his daughter Jacqueline Atkinson (Richard) of Belvidere; his grandchildren, James Atkinson (Carie) and Kristie Latham (Jimmy); and his great grandchildren, Clara Latham, William Latham, Jack Latham, Ethan Latham, Daisy Latham and Micah Atkinson.
