He was predeceased by: his grandmother Sarah Storms; his parents, Morris Sanford and Ruby Storms Sanford; and his siblings, Shirley Reynolds, Leroy and Jimmy Sanford.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Nell Melton Sanford; his children, Rose Wallace, Rita Mullins (Charles) and Tommy Sanford; his grandchildren, Heidi Hutchison and Jeremiah Sanford; and his brother Paul Sanford. He is also survived by grandchildren; and fourteen beloved great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel (2812 N Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38305). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
